What we do
We advance our programme in Africa by working with other organisations such as Alliance Mondiale Contre Le Cancer, Hospice Africa Uganda, APCA and the National Centre for Resources and Documentation for Palliative Care (CNDR) in the promotion of affordable palliative care to governments and health professional in francophone African countries. This work is supported by money raised from :-

Variety Show, Tapas Evening, quiz, open garden, vide grenier, jumble sales and general donations. The major part of our income comes from the sale of donated goods in our CHARITY SHOP located in the centre of the Breton Village of Jugon-les-Lacs   (SEE MAPS BELOW)

Who we are
We are a group of English and French Residents in North Brittany working together to raise funds in France for palliative care in francophone Africa.

Since 1993 Hospice Africa has been operating a centre of palliative care in Uganda. The project in Uganda stands today as a ‘model of care’ and a centre of education to be replicated and multiplied throughout Africa.

We are most grateful for the help and support of a number of individuals and  bodies including:-

Conseil Municipal Jugon-les-Lacs, BML Anglo Agence Dinan, Conseil General des Cotes d'Armor, Shop Volunteers and our volunteer lecturers from France, Africa and the UK.
